Our client is seeking an Auto Claims Associate to join their growing NYC team. This individual will support the end-to-end claims process for auto claims, gaining hands-on experience and building foundational knowledge in claims handling. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and ready to launch their career in the insurance industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the investigation and evaluation of auto claims, ensuring timely and accurate processing under supervision.
- Manage an assigned caseload of entry-level claims, maintaining organization and meeting service-level expectations.
- Communicate professionally with policyholders, claimants, and vendors to gather necessary documentation and provide updates.
- Maintain detailed and accurate claim files and contribute to periodic status reporting and internal documentation.
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of insurance claims handling experience.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable learning and using claims management software and related systems.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
