What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Assistant position at King's Home?
King's Home, a Christ Centered ministry in Shelby and Jefferson Counties, has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Assistant. This position involves inspecting and maintaining both the inside and outside of service tools, machinery, and vehicles. Collection of donated items including picking up if needed. Supervising on-campus work of outside repair contractors as well as volunteers for the maintenance staff. Determining necessary purchases of equipment and repairs and communicating that information to the Facilities Director. Responsible for treatment plants and back-up generator systems. Must be available for "on-call" rotation as needed.
Applicants must be able to lift over 50 lbs.,have a high school diploma or GED, be 21 yrs or older, clear criminal record, driving record (no speeding tickets that are more than 15 miles over the speed limit) and have a valid driver's license.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
