We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across all areas of the facility
- Conduct deep cleaning tasks such as floor care, buffing, and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Maintain restrooms, kitchens, and common areas by disinfecting surfaces and replenishing supplies
- Operate cleaning equipment and tools safely and efficiently, including vacuums, buffers, and floor scrubbers
- Assist with minor maintenance tasks such as painting touch-ups or repairs as needed
- Follow safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment during all cleaning activities
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
Requirements
- Proven experience in janitorial or custodial work, including commercial or industrial cleaning environments
- Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing and polishing
- Familiarity with cleaning supplies, equipment, and safety procedures
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently
- Prior experience with residential painting or facilities maintenance is a plus but not required
- Reliable transportation or access to transportation for shift flexibility is preferred
