What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Assistant position at King's Crossing Animal Hosptial?
Provide compassionate and thorough care to animals, help keep hospital clean, organized and functional, maintain thorough medical records, properly restrain animals for procedures, collect samples requested by doctor, assist doctors and other assistants when needed, obtain patient history and relay medical information to clients, and operate lab equipment. Previous experience required, basic understanding of veterinary diseases and treatments, computer skills preferably with Cornerstone software, must be physically able to lift and restrain animals. May cross train in reception.
