We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst with deep experience in Power BI and SQL querying in AWS environments to turn complex data into clear insights and decision ready reporting. This role partners closely with stakeholders across the business to define metrics, build scalable dashboards, improve data quality, and support analytics initiatives from intake through delivery.

Requirements

• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that deliver actionable insights for business leaders.
• Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from AWS based data sources.
• Develop semantic models, measures, and calculations using DAX, and ensure reporting consistency across teams.
• Translate business questions into measurable definitions, KPIs, and analytics requirements.
• Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure reporting accuracy and reliability.
• Create and manage reporting documentation including metric definitions, data lineage, and dashboard user guides.
• Partner with Data Engineering and IT to support data modeling, pipeline improvements, and performance optimization.
• Monitor and improve dashboard performance including query tuning, refresh optimization, and model design.
• Provide executive ready summaries, ad hoc analysis, and recommendations based on findings.
• Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices in reporting, SQL development, and analytics standards.
• Work cross functionally with Finance, Operations, and Carrier Relations to understand reporting needs, standardize definitions, and deliver dashboards that support strategic and day to day decision making.
• Facilitate stakeholder working sessions to align on requirements, prioritize requests, and drive adoption of reporting solutions across departments.
  
  

Required

• 3 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data analysis roles.
• Advanced experience with Power BI including:
• Data modeling
• DAX measures
• Power Query (M)
• Row level security (RLS)
• Publishing and workspace management
• Strong SQL skills, including complex joins, CTEs, window functions, and performance tuning.
• Experience querying data in AWS environments (for example data stored in AWS managed databases or analytics platforms).
• Demonstrated experience partnering with cross functional teams and translating business needs into scalable reporting.
• Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high quality work on deadlines.
