Role Summary:
The Ginner role is primarily responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing gin equipment.
What To Expect In The Role
- Responsible for checking moisture content and trash levels of seed cotton prior to ginning.
- Assists in repairing equipment such as conveyor systems, trailers, and storage bins.
- Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
- Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of work crew.
- Analyze and resolve work problems, and/or assist workers in solving work problems.
- Performs same activities as supervised workers.
- Responsible for routine maintenance and repairs to ensure that gin runs smoothly.
- Employee must be safety oriented and always adhere to safety requirements.
