Offset Web Printing Press Operator/Helper (Up to $30/hr)

FULL JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Completes make-ready in accordance with the job ticket and product specification documents to ensure correct print cylinders, inks, substrates, tooling and anilox rollers are used.
• Responsible for operating high-quality products using RDP offset web presses (6-color and 10-color) in accordance with customer specification while maintaining quality, waste, and press efficiency.
• Maintains consistent quality during the production run with critical quality checks including copy, color, registration, and ink adhesion to ensure conformance to all other quality checks.
• Accurately records time and materials for each job and is accountable for equipment maintenance.
• Diagnoses problems, make press adjustments, troubleshoots, and provides the required maintenance to equipment in a timely manner.
• Clean plate, cylinder, glue units, ink pans and lubricates press as needed.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment and area by completing daily housekeeping assignments.
• Work with press numbering

SCHEDULE:

• Monday through Saturday
• Able to work night shift

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School or Equivalent (Preferred)
• Minimum 3 years printing experience (Preferred)
• Valid Driver’s License
