Job Description:
The Cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer service, accurately processing orders and payments, and helping maintain a clean, welcoming environment for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, attentive service.
- Take customer orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
- Process cash, credit/debit card, and other payments accurately.
- Provide customers with receipts and ensure transactions are completed correctly.
- Answer questions about menu items and assist customers with their selections.
- Communicate orders clearly and efficiently with the kitchen team.
- Maintain a clean and organized front counter, dining area, and cashier station.
- Restock supplies and assist with basic restaurant duties as needed.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and cash-handling procedures.
- Assist other team members during busy periods to ensure a smooth guest experience.
- Address customer questions or concerns professionally and promptly.
