Job Description

King of Buds Dispensary is looking for a reliable, professional, and customer-focused Security Associate / Floor Support team member. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe environment while providing excellent customer service and assisting with daily floor operations.

Responsibilities

• Verify valid government-issued IDs before customer entry.
• Monitor the sales floor and entrance to ensure a safe environment.
• Greet and welcome customers in a professional manner.
• Assist customers by directing them to available budtenders.
• Help maintain an organized, clean, and professional sales floor.
• Monitor customer activity and report suspicious behavior to management.
• De-escalate situations calmly and professionally.
• Assist with crowd control during busy hours.
• Support staff with general floor operations when needed.
• Follow all New York State cannabis regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• Previous security experience preferred.
• Cannabis dispensary experience is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Dependable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
