King Machine is looking for two Quality Inspectors to join our team! In this role, you’ll play an important part in making sure our manufactured components meet quality requirements and customer expectations. We’re looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoys working with production and engineering teams to solve problems and deliver quality work.
What You’ll Do
As a Quality Inspector, you will:
- Inspect manufactured parts to verify they meet drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Use precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and dimensional specifications.
- Perform in-process and final inspections of manufactured components.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
- Identify and communicate nonconforming parts or quality concerns.
- Work closely with machinists, production employees, engineering, and leadership to resolve quality issues.
- Help identify opportunities to improve quality and reduce defects.
- Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
What We’re Looking For
Our ideal candidate has:
- Previous quality inspection, machining, or manufacturing experience.
- Experience using precision measurement equipment.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Basic computer and documentation skills.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Experience with CMM inspection, GD&T, or ISO quality systems is a plus!
