Custodian

King Estate Winery, located in Eugene Oregon, is currently looking for a full-time seasonal Custodian
that is professional, proactive, hands-on and detail orientated. This position could work into a
permanent role for the right candidate. The Custodian is responsible for all duties and special projects
within the housekeeping operation in all areas of the property. The ideal candidate will have
commercial/industrial cleaning and Custodian maintenance experience.



General Responsibilities:

• Utility work as directed; up to and including moving furniture, assisting in loading, unloading and

distribution of supplies, servicing and cleaning high public areas and performing special cleaning
in designated areas.

• Inspect cleanliness of residences, executive offices from top to bottom, basement to the roof;

inspecting all furniture, carpets, upholstery, floors, blinds, windows, curtains, etc. and report any
damage or concerns/issues. Clean furniture and fixtures as directed using approved products.

• Clean sinks, tubs, showers, and toilets. Dust furniture, walls, machinery, and equipment.

Vacuum, polish, and sweep assigned areas.

• Trash pick-up and removal
• Window washing
• Operating powered equipment typically used in custodial operations.
• Maintaining and performing preventative maintenance on company equipment.
• Maintain a professional appearance and uniform standards.
• Maintaining cleanliness of company vehicles, including washing, vacuuming out, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Willing and able to work on varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the estate. Typical

schedule will likely be Tuesday through Saturday.

SKILLS:

• Experience cleaning homes, special surfaces, executive office, and industrial spaces.
• Able to respond to requests timely and follow through until completed.
• Can graciously accept feedback and apply knowledge learned.
• Physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel, squat, crouch, bend and crawl.
