DUTIES
- Oversee and manage all aspects of nursing operations within the organization
- Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards of care
- Supervise and evaluate nursing staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Monitor and analyze patient outcomes, identifying areas for improvement
- Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives
- Provide leadership and guidance in the development of nursing education programs
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid RN or LPN license in the state of Maryland
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a nursing leadership role
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical records, and anatomy systems
- Experience in nursing home settings
- Proven ability to effectively supervise and manage a team of nurses
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Detail-oriented with a focus on documentation review
