Duties

- Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations on food and beverage selections.
- Utilize Toast systems for order entry and payment processing.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and presentation.
- Manage tables efficiently, including bussing and resetting for new guests.
- Address guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and courtesy.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, floors, and service stations.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure guest health and safety.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar systems is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests.
- Knowledge of fine dining etiquette and culinary offerings is a plus.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Experience in upselling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance is beneficial.
- Understanding of food safety practices and sanitation protocols is essential.
