Job Overview
We are seeking an Experienced Part-Time Janitor for a new 5 year contract with floor care experience to maintain the cleanliness of an 2-story office building in Lauderhill, Florida. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and has experience with routine janitorial work.
Responsibilities Include
- Clean and maintain common areas daily including lobbies, hallways, stairwells, elevators, offices, main entrances, and restrooms
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and spot clean floors
- Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces (handrails, door handles, elevator buttons, etc.)
- Remove trash and recycling from common areas
- Restock restroom and common-area supplies
- Safely operate cleaning equipment
- Use cleaning chemicals according to safety guidelines (SDS/MSDS)
- Place safety signage during wet or floor-care work
- Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to management
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of janitorial experience
- Must speak, write, and understand English fluently
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently
- Physically able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs
Work Environment

- Supplies, equipment, and PPE provided
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and other departments effectively.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly wage (based on experience).
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Up to $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
