Position Summary
In this litigation-focused associate role, working in the Insurance Defense sector, you’ll step into a hands-on position that offers a strong balance of independence and team collaboration. You’ll be responsible for managing a varied caseload from inception through resolution, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery, tracking deadlines, and keeping matters progress efficiently.
Key Responsibilities (must haves):
- A Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admission to the Rhode Island Bar.
- 1–3 years of experience in civil litigation, including work in both trial-level and federal courts, is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience handling depositions and managing the discovery process.
- Highly motivated professional with strong advocacy abilities, experience drafting and arguing dispositive motions, and solid legal research skills.
Salary : $105,000 - $130,000
