Electrician / Appliance Installation Support
King Appliance Installs is looking for a dependable electrician with at least two years of hands-on electrical experience to support our appliance installation team.
This position is focused specifically on the electrical work that may be needed when installing residential appliances. We are looking for someone who understands electrical systems, works safely, and is comfortable making adjustments so appliances can be installed correctly.
Typical responsibilities may include:
- Relocating or adjusting electrical outlets for appliances
- Running new electrical lines when needed
- Changing outlets, receptacles, breakers, or disconnects to meet appliance requirements
- Converting or updating electrical connections for ranges, ovens, cooktops, dryers, refrigerators, and other appliances
- Installing junction boxes and hardwired connections
- Troubleshooting electrical issues related to appliance installations
- Confirming voltage, amperage, and electrical requirements before installation
- Coordinating with our installation crews to complete projects safely and efficiently
- Keeping the work area clean and professional inside customers’ homes
We are not looking for someone who knows absolutely everything. We are looking for someone with proper electrical training, solid experience, and the confidence to complete appliance-related electrical work safely and correctly.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of electrical experience
- Formal electrical training or apprenticeship experience required
- Strong understanding of residential electrical systems
- Comfortable reading appliance specifications and electrical requirements
- Able to troubleshoot and make safe electrical modifications
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Professional, respectful, and comfortable working in occupied homes
- Able to communicate well and work as part of a team
- Electrician license is preferred, but not required
