Major Job Responsibilities will include:
- Produce and batch in-spec concrete for area projects.
- Dispatch daily trucks for safe and timely delivery of concrete.
- Manage phones to assist concrete customers with daily orders.
- Maintain sufficient inventory of raw material to meet plant needs.
- Complete daily reporting and paperwork accurately and timely.
- Manage the preventative maintenance schedule and perform minor repairs as needed.
- Help resolve quality or customer issues.
- Address or escalate personnel issues.
- Promote a people-first and safe working environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Requires a high school diploma or GED.
- Must possess and maintain a valid California driver’s license and qualify under KRC Safety Fleet Policy.
- Must be available to work overtime and weekends.
- Regular attendance required.
- Communicate efficiently with customers and company personnel.
- Extensive knowledge of the surrounding area and of the company products.
- Ability to take initiative to increase the quality of one’s skills to become more efficient.
- Ability to read and interpret maps.
- Perform mathematical functions pertaining to billing, volumes, quantities, etc.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute ratio, percentage, draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Computer skills to enter orders into software.
