Job Type
· Full time, in person
· Monday through Friday, day shift
· Rotating Saturday coverage (monthly)
Key Responsibilities
· Perform data entry for medication orders and assist with billing processes to ensure accurate and timely claims submission.
· Manage inbound and outbound telephone communications with patients, facilities, and other healthcare providers to gather information, clarify orders, and address medication-related questions.
· Fill, label, and prepare medications in compliance packaging.
· Maintain inventory, perform cycle counts, and support ordering.
· Receive, check in and organize medication deliveries.
· Support pharmacists with issue resolution, clarification requests, and daily workflow needs.
· Contribute to a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· Must comply with all state board of pharmacy requirements governing the practice of pharmacy, including any age, education and licensure or certification requirements.
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Prior pharmacy experience preferred.
· Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively within a team.
Physical Requirements
· Ability to hear and communicate either in person or by telephone.
· Possess good vision to read all sizes of type, print, and handwritten materials.
· Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time.
· Individuals must be able to use two hands to perform assigned work.
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
