Kinetics Noise Control, Inc. is seeking a motivated part-time, entry-level Software Developer currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. This position will primarily focus on leveraging Python and AI-based tools to maintain, debug, and enhance existing in-house software applications, as well as assist in the development of new engineering analysis tools. The developer will also have exposure to HTML and Java.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Use Python and AI-driven tools to maintain, debug, and improve existing software applications.
- Implement new features and enhancements based on user feedback and requirements.
- Collaborate with end-users to identify issues and improve overall software usability and functionality.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Assist the engineering team in developing new analytical tools and applications for mechanical and structural engineering processes.
- Support the translation of engineering algorithms into practical software solutions.
Tertiary Responsibilities:
- Participate actively in evaluating and integrating emerging AI technologies within the engineering software ecosystem.
- Research and recommend new software tools and methodologies to enhance operational efficiency.
Essential Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Additional background in Mechanical Engineering or Physics is preferred.
- Experience or coursework in Python programming is required.
- Exposure to HTML and Java through coursework or personal projects.
- Interest in artificial intelligence and willingness to learn and apply AI-based software tools.

- Ability to independently manage tasks while working effectively in a collaborative environment.
