Research Engineer

Qualifications

Kinetic is recruiting a Research Engineer with a solid background in applied mathematics to join the founding team. We’re looking for someone who is fluent in Python and excited about doing mathematical research to solve financial infrastructure problems in the crypto space. They must have specific knowledge of at least two:

• Graph theory and algorithms on graphs.
• Algorithms for probabilistic inference (e.g., MCMC).
• Numerical optimization (e.g., integer programming).
• Numerical methods for differential equations.
• Exploratory data analysis and statistics.
• Linear algebra, not necessarily in an applied setting.
