The Role
This is a hands-on role focused on deploying and supporting the application infrastructure for our hosted products and services. It is a blend of infrastructure engineering with application support and administration, and will suit Infrastructure or Support Engineers with a background in Windows Server, IIS and SQL administration who have an ambition to grow their cloud skills.
You will work across our hosted environments, collaborating closely with our DevOps and product teams to ensure our platforms remain secure, scalable, and performing at their best for universities and venues worldwide.

You will work across our hosted environments, collaborating closely with our DevOps and product teams to ensure our platforms remain secure, scalable, and performing at their best for universities and venues worldwide.
What You'll Be Doing
- Orchestrate the delivery and testing of new application infrastructure
- Implement customer infrastructure and application change requests in line with business policies and practices
- Support the deployment and testing of software updates and hotfixes
- Support the troubleshooting of infrastructure and application issues
- Document fixes, processes, and improvements to strengthen internal knowledge sharing
- Maintain alignment with security standards such as ISO27001 and PCI-DSS
Core Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server administration
- Solid experience with SQL Server, SMTP, IIS, and related infrastructure services
- Experience with Identity Management, SSO and federation configuration
- Networking proficiency, including DNS, VNETs, VPNs, proxies, and firewalls
- Confidence troubleshooting Windows environments, Active Directory, and complex cloud setups
- Ability to clearly explain complex technical issues to non-technical teams
- Relevant cloud administration experience and qualifications (Azure preferred)
- Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform
- Experience working with CI/CD tooling and deployment pipelines (GitHub preferred)
- Experience working with a customer-focused mindset
- Experience with ticketing and documentation tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Experience working with agile and professional services delivery teams
- Comfortable working asynchronously across time zones, with strong documentation and collaboration habits
- Take ownership and see problems through from start to finish
- Enjoy tackling complex or ambiguous infrastructure challenges
- Think ahead when designing fixes, not just applying short-term patches
- Value simplicity, automation, and security in equal measure
- Are open to using AI tools to work smarter and more efficiently
