Role Description
The Licensed Massage Therapist will perform therapeutic massage and manual therapy techniques to address client pain, stress, and mobility challenges. Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating client needs, administering customized treatment plans, and providing exceptional customer care. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Virginia Beach, VA. The therapist will collaborate with clients and colleagues to achieve therapeutic goals and foster a professional, welcoming environment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in various massage techniques. We are happy to provide training, but at a minimum, candidate must have detailed understanding anatomy and palpation skills.
- Desirable skillsets include: neuromuscular therapy, cupping, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage
- Excellent Customer Service and communication skills for building client trust and maintaining a positive experience
- Appropriate licensure or certification as required for a practicing Licensed Massage Therapist in Virginia
- Ability to create tailored treatment plans based on individual client needs
- Strong awareness of anatomy, physiology, and connective tissue function
- Prior experience in therapeutic or clinical settings is a plus
- A commitment to promoting overall health, wellness, and recovery
