Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Level III Commissioned Security Officer role supporting upcoming 2026 assignments across the Dallas–Fort Worth (DFW) area. Officers will be responsible for securing client premises, protecting personnel and assets, and upholding operational safety standards.
Daily responsibilities include conducting patrols, monitoring security systems, responding to incidents, enforcing policies, and maintaining detailed and accurate reports. Officers will interact professionally with clients, staff, and community members and must demonstrate strong situational awareness, communication, and judgment under pressure.
Officers may also support specialized assignments, including K-9 division operations or mission-specific deployments, depending on qualifications and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct patrols to identify suspicious activity, safety hazards, or security breaches
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, disturbances, or medical emergencies (including First Aid/CPR response)
• Enforce security policies, access control, and site protocols to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized entry
• Use de-escalation techniques and maintain professionalism during conflicts or high-stress situations
• Monitor CCTV and security systems; document observations and take appropriate corrective action
• Coordinate with law enforcement when necessary and support investigation efforts
• Prepare detailed daily activity logs, incident reports, and documentation in accordance with company procedures
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining command presence and situational awareness
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure seamless site operations
• Maintain readiness, equipment accountability, and compliance with Texas DPS regulatory standards (Chapter 1702)
Required Qualifications:
• Valid Texas Level III Commission License (active and in good standing)
• Minimum 1 year of private security experience; experience in patrol, access control, or incident response preferred
• Driver’s License (required)
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and physical readiness assessments
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to create clear, detailed reports
• High integrity, strong work ethic, and consistent professionalism
• Excellent observational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team
• Physical fitness sufficient for patrolling, standing posts, and responding to emergencies
• Military or law enforcement experience valued (DD-214 required for prior military)
• Certifications in First Aid/CPR, CIT, Fire Watch, BWC, or K-9 operations are advantageous but not required
