Event Staff

Kinetic Events Staffing is in search of event staff for an upcoming conference taking place in Sacramento from Monday, December 1st, 2025, to Saturday, December 6th, 2025.

This is a great opportunity for those looking to join our roster, as Sacramento is an active market for us, and we will have additional opportunities in 2025. We provide a fun, collaborative, and positive work environment!

Job Description

• This event is an education conference and trade show and will be held at multiple locations in Sacramento, including the Hyatt Regency, SAFE Credit Union Convention Center, and the Sheraton
• Staff will be working in multiple roles across the convention center and nearby hotels - we’ll match you to the best fit based on your experience and availability.
  
• Job duties will include registration, badge scanning, wayfinding, and other general conference tasks
• Pay is $22/hour - we pay weekly via direct deposit!
• Parking is reimbursable up to $20/day.
• Staff will need to wear their own black slacks, black button-down shirt and black professional shoes.

Shift Dates & Times (Limited Shifts Available)

• Shifts available between 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM, depending on role.
• Limited shifts available on 12/01/25 and 12/06/25
• Majority shifts start between 6:30 - 9:30 AM. Limited afternoon/evening shifts available
• Most shifts are 6-12 hours long. Overtime available on select longer shifts

Job Requirements

• Must have a considerable background in front-facing customer service roles.
• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a standard shift (typically 4-12 hours), except during designated rest breaks and meal periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
• Must be punctual and reliable for all scheduled shifts.
• Must have proficiency in English with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional demeanor, appearance, and actions while on the job.
• Limited phone use during shifts.
• Must adhere to all legal regulations and company policies set by Kinetic Events Staffing.

Ideal Candidates

• Previous event or hospitality experience is preferred.
• Flexible and adaptable, as job duties and schedules may change based on client needs.
• Tech-savvy and willing to learn new tasks and skills.
• Local to Sacramento. Kinetic Events/our clients do not provide travel reimbursements.
