Job Position Summary: The Driver is responsible for loading, unloading and delivering product to customer and supplier locations as determined by the Production Control Manager.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Normal Production environments, subject to high noise levels from operating machines; physical hazards from moving equipment and sharp machine parts; breathing fumes, dust and mist; skin exposure to oil and cutting fluid; exposure to sharp metal edges, and forklifts

- Ensure adherence to safety regulation and standard. Follow Safety culture and wear PPE when required.
- Does deliveries, pickups or requests for company or customer needs.
- Check ins and out of our Time & Labor system at start and end of each day for time tracking.
- Keeps the company vehicle clean daily and fills the gas tank for the next day.
- Does routine daily inspection of truck safety before driving.
- Provides customer service and represents company and values in a professional, friendly, service-oriented manner.
- Adheres to safety precautions on the road at all times per company policy, utilizes hands-free cell phone use and consistently drives to keep employees and others safe on the road.
- Maintains flexibility to meet the needs of customers.
- Follow 6s Procedures and maintains a clean organized work area.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Previous company driving experience preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time Management Skills to meet the demand of the customer.
- Must be deemed insurable.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical.
- Must be flexible to work longer hours than scheduled.
- Must have the ability to follow instruction.
- Must have the ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given
- Must have the ability to effectively communicate with fellow employees and customers.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements:
- Must have ability to read applicable customer/B&E documents with or without corrective lenses.
- Must be able to push, pull, reach overhead, stand, walk, climb stairs, bend and/or sit for long periods of time.
- Must have the ability to do Heavy lifting (greater than 30 pounds at once) this will be required at times and lifting boxes is a common activity for this position as well as frequent bending, walking and quick movements.
