About the Role

We're looking for a talented and driven Sourcing Manager to join our growing team. You'll have the opportunity to make an immediate impact within the Supply Chain Team across several brands in our portfolio. This position will play a key role in sourcing and planning unique new-to-market products. The sourcing focus is quite diversified in cosmetics, accessories, tools, merchandise, packaging, componentry, and more. This is a startup environment, so there's lots of room to make a big impact and grow.

You Will

• Source new vendors domestically and internationally
• Own sourcing of turn-key cosmetics, accessories, tools, merchandise, packaging, and componentry
• Ensure tracking and project management of all sourcing projects meet timelines and budgets
• Lead processes, data, and presentations with respect to project adherence to quality, cost & timelines
• Oversee QA and QC implementations at product kick-off
• Provide on-site review of product with the Brand, Operations, and QA Teams to support smooth product development
• Manage new and existing vendor accounts
• Negotiate/optimize pricing & payment terms
• Develop accountability and lead meetings with vendors
• Manage Overseas vendors on off-hours (i.e., phone/video calls)
• Quality, Order fulfillment, sampling structure
• Deliver end-to-end management of sampling and initial order procurement
• Partner with Brand, Quality, and Receiving Departments
• Order Life-cycle (PO Placement through Receipt)
• Inbound tracking, logistics, freight, and communication
• Assist with other projects/responsibilities as needed

You have

• BA/BS in Sourcing, Procurement, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or similar
• 3 years of experience in a procurement, supply chain, sourcing, or project management similar role
• Ability to be a leader, take initiative, and be the key resource to own and push projects forward
• Robust communication, presentation & time management skills
• Being nimble in balancing and executing multiple initiatives in parallel
• Experienced in using Microsoft products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) & G Suite products (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
• Bilingual (Mandarin) a plus
• Ability to occasionally travel to meet with vendors (domestically and internationally)

Work Environment

• Hybrid - This role is required to be onsite at our Passaic, NJ warehouse 3 days a week.
