What are the responsibilities and job description for the Web Production Associate position at Kinedyne?
The Web Production Associate (WPA) supports the entire Web Plant manufacturing operation by working in five key areas as assigned.
- Warping - The WPA will operate the warping machine to prepare beams for Weaving.
- Creel Hand - Prepare yarn spools to be loaded onto the creel.
- Finishing Operator - Produce quality material through proper adjustment of finishing machine settings.
- Weaver - Operate and monitor Weaving looms to ensure the quality manufacturing of Webbing.
- Weaver/Tie-In - Thread looms when pattern changes are required.
WORKING CONDITIONS/EXPOSURES:
Manufacturing environment including noise, fumes, chemicals, and moving parts. Capable and willing to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Work will be on a production floor environment where conditions vary seasonally from hot and humid in the summer to relatively cool in the winter.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Standing and walking most of the day. Must have the ability to lift and move up to 45 lbs on a frequent basis. Frequent standing for long periods of time combined with bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, grasping, stooping, and lifting. Must be able to climb a ladder and work from a height of 10 feet.
