Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Personal Banker at our Santa Monica, CA branch. The Personal Banker will assist members with financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and account inquiries, while providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities involve opening new accounts, offering personalized banking solutions, and advising members on various financial products. The role involves building strong relationships with members and ensuring their financial needs are met efficiently and professionally.
Qualifications
- Experience in personal banking, including assisting members with financial transactions and offering tailored banking solutions
- Proficiency in deposits and the ability to handle cash and check transactions accurately
- Experience in opening new accounts and understanding financial product offerings
- Strong customer service skills, with an ability to create positive member interactions
- Basic knowledge of finance and financial principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work on-site in Santa Monica, CA, and in a team-oriented environment
- Prior experience in a similar role or in the banking/financial services sector is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field is a plus
Education, Training and Experience:
Potential candidates for this position must meet the following requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years plus of credit union and or banking experience.
• Provide a production performance of your current or past sales.
