GENERAL SUMMARY:

This position serves as the primary administrator and business steward of the nCino platform, responsible for system support, configuration management, user enablement, release management, issue resolution, and ongoing platform optimization. The position will be responsible for researching and proposing new functionality, utilizing current systems to address organizational initiatives and ensure Kinecta is well-positioned to utilize functionality within vendor platform releases. This position partners with Information Technology, Salesforce administrators, and third-party vendors to ensure the platform remains reliable, compliant, scalable, and aligned with organizational objectives. The role supports business process improvements, system enhancements, and user adoption while maintaining data integrity and operational efficiency.


NATURE AND SCOPE OF POSITION:

This position works with a minimal amount of supervision and direction and is authorized to take reasonable actions and decisions necessary to carry out the assigned responsibilities of the position, provided that such action is consistent with cost-effective practices and is consistent with the policy and procedures of Kinecta Federal Credit Union and regulatory compliance. Must be able to demonstrate ability to follow Kinecta’s Core Values.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role has no supervisory responsibilities but will be expected to occasionally take the lead on projects and other assigned duties. 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Manage and maintain the nCino/Salesforce platform, including troubleshooting and problem-solving any technical issues that may arise, including first level of support for users.
  • Manage ongoing internal support and resolve open tickets with business partners. 
  • Act as the primary contact for system, reporting and process related analysis.
  • Continuously optimize and improve the nCino platform to ensure its effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Administer user access, security roles, permissions, onboarding, and training for nCino users.
  • Support employees in Salesforce – Financial Services Cloud
  • Stay up to date on the latest nCino updates and features and implement them as necessary.
  • Act as a liaison between business partner and nCino, communicating any necessary updates or changes.
  • Support enhancement gathering sessions with the team to understand their business, functional and technical requirements for nCino system and workflows.
  • Document system processes, procedures, and training materials.
  • Manage system releases/upgrades, review release notes, summarize changes, and inform business partners of changes occurring. Track and validate system releases and ensure communicating with business partners if testing needs to be completed. Lead liaison for system implementations.
  • Maintain platform governance standards, including user access administration, configuration management, change control processes, data integrity monitoring, and compliance with established business and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain application artifacts such as Data Dictionary Updates, Procedures, Non-Functional requirement etc.
  • Investigate any data sync issues and errors and work with vendor to resolve production issues.
  • Lead liaison for vendor management.
  • Back up for departmental reports.


NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Requires experience with nCino and Salesforce, along with a strong understanding of banking operations required.  
  • Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication are crucial for success in this role. 
  • Ability to drive consensus amongst differing business priorities.
  • Sharp analytic skills with an ability to arrive at logical and quick conclusions, and to facilitate structured decision-making for teams and stakeholder group.
  • Experience with commercial loan systems, servicing, or collateral systems such as CASH, SilverLake, Symitar and nCino. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to convey messaging to a variety of levels of audience.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment, see ‘big picture’, and employ reasoning.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Collaborative and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and inter-company software.
  • Proficient in multi-tasking and prioritizing projects.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Thrives in a dynamic fast paced environment.


Education, Training and Experience:

Potential candidates for this position must meet the following requirements:

  • 1 to 2 years of system administration experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial services with exposure to commercial loan portfolio management process.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or applicable technical experience. 
  • Technical Vendor management experience is a plus or aptitude to develop these skills. 


One year of relevant professional-level work experience may be substituted for one year of required education.


WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. 
  • The job may require flexibility with regards to scheduling days, hours, and work location, depending on business needs. 
  • The job is typically sedentary but may require standing and walking up to 35% of the work time to transfer files, ask questions, and related activities.


PHYSICAL ABILITIES, MENTAL DEMANDS, AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

Must be able to exercise sound judgment, effectively plan and be well organized, have excellent oral and written communications skills, work well under changing timelines, take the initiative and be flexible and cooperative. Accuracy, timeliness and maintaining confidentiality related to member, employee information and company records is required.


While performing the job duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to sit; talk or hear in person and by telephone; use hands to operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms; lift minimum 10 lbs.


The employee is frequently required to walk and stand. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus to read and operate office equipment, as necessary. The employee works under typical office conditions and noise levels. 


Salary : $74,000 - $93,000
