Overview
The team is building a new Snowflake-based data platform focused on financial planning, technology spend, operational reporting, and analytics. This role will help design, build, automate, and optimize scalable enterprise data solutions supporting cross-functional business and technology teams.
Responsibilities
• Design, build, automate, and maintain scalable data pipelines bringing together financial and operational data into Snowflake
• Develop robust data models and semantic layers to support reporting and analytics
• Write performant SQL and Python code to automate allocation engines, cost pool processing, and service-level analytics
• Partner closely with product managers, finance teams, AI/ML engineers, and QA teams
• Utilize orchestration/workflow tools such as DBT, Airflow, and Snowflake Tasks
• Implement reconciliation processes, data quality checks, and IT controls
• Support ongoing platform optimization, tuning, and operational support
Required Qualifications
• 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake
• Advanced SQL expertise including CTEs, window functions, data modeling, and transformations
• Python experience for ETL/ELT, automation, or analytics
• Experience building scalable and maintainable enterprise data pipelines
• Experience working with financial datasets, cost allocation models, planning, spend, or recovery models
• Familiarity with DBT, Airflow, or similar orchestration tools
• Experience with enterprise systems such as SAP, ServiceNow, Cognos Planning, Clarity, etc.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Snowflake Cortex AI
• Familiarity with Technology Business Management (TBM) frameworks/methodologies
• Strong understanding of corporate finance and accounting processes
Education
• STEM Bachelor’s Degree plus 5 years of relevant experience
