Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction based on each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP)
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and accommodations
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, administrators, and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration
Qualifications
- Active Colorado Special Education Teaching License (or eligibility to obtain one)
- School-based experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs
