KindSpire Education is hiring a Special Education Teacher for a full-time, school-based position in the Hampton, SC area for the 2026–2027 school year.
Two assignment options are available based on experience and certification:
- 3rd–4th Grade Self-Contained Special Education
- 8th Grade Resource / Self-Contained ELA & Math

Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction based on student IEPs
- Develop and implement appropriate lessons and instructional strategies
- Provide academic and behavioral support
- Implement accommodations and modifications
- Monitor and document student progress
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
- Participate in IEP meetings and student planning
- Maintain accurate student and special education documentation
- Create a structured, positive, and supportive classroom environment
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
- Valid South Carolina special education teaching certification or eligibility
- Experience working with students with disabilities
- School-based special education experience preferred
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and support staff
