Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome guests, setting the tone for their dining experience
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and walk-ins, keeping wait times and expectations clear
- Answer phones, take reservations, and respond to guest inquiries professionally
- Communicate table status and timing with servers and management throughout service
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host stand and entryway
- Address guest questions, special requests, and concerns with professionalism
- Uphold the restaurant's standards for hospitality, presentation, and service at all times
- Support the front-of-house team during high-volume, fast-paced shifts
Qualifications
- Previous host or customer service experience preferred, not required
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
