Do you want to make a real difference in the lives of individuals who use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)? We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Communication Partner to join our team to work with a private client Los Angeles!
About the Role
As a Communication Partner, you will work one-on-one with individuals who use AAC to:
- Support them in expressing their thoughts, needs, and ideas
- Assist them in participating in education, therapy, and community activities
- Encourage independence, connection, and growth so they can pursue their goals and dreams
- Part time (5 hours per week)

Who We’re Looking For
You don’t need prior experience as a Communication Partner — we provide full training and ongoing support.
We especially welcome applicants with backgrounds in:
- Special Education (teachers, paraeducators, classroom aides)
- Behavioral Therapy (RBTs, BCBAs, ABA professionals)
- Speech & Language (SLPAs, graduate students in SLP)
- Mental Health (MFTs, MFT trainees, counseling backgrounds)…
…but we also encourage applicants from other fields who are patient, reliable, and passionate about helping others communicate.
Qualifications
- Interest in working with individuals with communication challenges or disabilities
- Strong interpersonal and observation skills
- Willingness to learn and grow through ongoing training
- Ability to collaborate with families, therapists, and educators
