As a Procurement Indirect Buyer I, you will support the day-to-day procurement of indirect goods and services for assigned sites by processing requisitions and purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders, and helping ensure timely delivery, cost effectiveness, and policy compliance.
This role supports supplier setup and performance follow-up, resolves order and invoice issues, maintains purchasing data and blanket purchase orders, and contributes to continuous improvement, stakeholder service, and procurement operations within a fast-paced global environment.

As a Procurement Indirect Buyer I, you will support the day-to-day procurement of indirect goods and services for assigned sites by processing requisitions and purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders, and helping ensure timely delivery, cost effectiveness, and policy compliance.
This role supports supplier setup and performance follow-up, resolves order and invoice issues, maintains purchasing data and blanket purchase orders, and contributes to continuous improvement, stakeholder service, and procurement operations within a fast-paced global environment.
Responsibilities
- Process and manage requisitions and purchase orders for indirect goods and services, ensuring compliance with corporate procurement policies, procedures, and purchasing requirements while securing favorable pricing and terms.
- Support supplier management activities, including supplier onboarding, performance follow-up, issue resolution, claims management, and coordination with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Monitor and maintain procurement data and purchasing records, including blanket purchase orders, past-due purchase order reporting, and procurement-related documentation within Microsoft D365 and other procurement systems.
- Partner with internal stakeholders, including Operations, Finance, Accounts Payable, and site leadership, to resolve purchasing and invoice issues, support business needs, and provide procurement-related guidance and service.
- Assist with cost savings initiatives and procurement projects by developing business cases, supporting sourcing activities, and identifying opportunities to improve procurement effectiveness and operational efficiency.
- Serve as a site procurement resource by responding to procurement-related questions, supporting procurement transformations and service escalations, and helping drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders while participating in training, knowledge sharing, and professional development activities.
- Provide support for both indirect and direct procurement activities as business needs require.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications with an emphasis on Excel.
- Basic understanding of the Procure-to-Pay process.
- Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of theories and practices related to planning, procurement, and inventory.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong business acumen and analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to interface effectively with internal customers, management, and employees across Kindeva locations.
- Master's degree.
- APICS, ASCM, CIPS, or ISM coursework toward certification.
- Coursework or internship experience in Procurement or Supply Chain.
- Experience with Microsoft D365 Procurement software.
- Experience with Power BI.
- Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or life sciences industry experience.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Intermediate computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, procurement systems, ERP platforms, and related business tools.
- Ability to interpret procurement data, vendor information, reports, and purchasing documentation to support business decisions.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and organizational levels.
- Demonstrated professionalism, sound judgment, integrity, adaptability, and commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
