What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accountant II position at Kindeva Drug Delivery?
Kindeva is seeking an Accountant that supports the accounting department and be responsible for ensuring accounting transactions are processed and posted accurately and timely in a variety of areas. It is essential that the candidate brings strong analytical and organizational skill in order to best support the accounting team.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Financial reporting and reconciliation
- Prepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations with supporting documentation
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial statements
- Support monthly and year-end financial close
- Support for year-end financial audit
- Monitor policies and procedures for compliance and suggest modifications and improvements as applicable
- Maintain effective internal controls and compliance with accounting standards and procedures
- Ad hoc reporting and projects as required
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- 4 years’ experience in accounting
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Certified public accountant (CPA) a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or comparable ERP a plus
