Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Home Care Caregiver in the Royersford area of Pennsylvania to join our team. In this vital role, you will deliver personalized assistance to clients in their homes, supporting their daily needs and promoting their well-being. Your dedication will help clients maintain independence and improve their quality of life through attentive, respectful, and skilled care.
Duties
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor patients’ health status by observing vital signs, patient condition, and behavioral changes
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA privacy standards
- Provide patient transfer assistance using proper techniques such as Hoyer lifts and patient transfer methods
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities, observations, and progress in compliance with care plans
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment
Experience
- Prior experience working with seniors or in home health care settings preferre
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders beneficial
- Background in geriatrics or long-term care environments advantageous
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members while respecting resident’s rights
