What are the responsibilities and job description for the After School Care Staff position at KinderStop On-Site?
KinderStop On-Site is looking for energetic, dependable, and caring individuals to join our after school program! Our staff spend their afternoons creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment where children can play, socialize, and participate in activities. Previous childcare, camp, education, or youth program experience is preferred.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 2:15 PM–6:00 PM
Optional morning shifts available from 6:30 AM–8:00 AM.
This is a great part-time opportunity for college students, parents, or anyone looking for consistent afternoon hours.
Responsibilities of the job include:
- Ensure student safety and supervise all activities
- Lead and participate in games, crafts, homework, and other activities
- Practice positive group management techniques
- Help create a welcoming and inclusive environment
- Foster a positive and supportive team atmosphere
- Assist with general housekeeping tasks
- Assist children with transitions and dismissal
- Consent to background checks and drug testing prior to employment
- Obtain or maintain certifications in CPR and First Aid
