As Senior Workday HRIS Analyst, you'll support Tier 2 needs for the Compensation and HCM modules. You will independently solve complex compensation processes to support our Field & corporate partners and collaborate closely with the Principal HRIS Analyst to continue optimizing Workday after one year post implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal partners for system enhancements, automations, and process improvements. Document HRIS processes, system configurations, and procedures for handling data for reference and training purposes.
- Configure Workday HCM to meet changing business needs, including creating new fields, workflows, and approval processes. Develop and generate standard and ad-hoc reports, to support data-driven decision-making and ongoing processes.
- Impact data integrity by conducting regular audits, data validation checks, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Participate in HRIS-related projects, such as system upgrades, implementations, release testing and data migrations. Develop detailed test plans.
- Provide user support, troubleshooting, and training to Workday users, ensuring they can successfully navigate the system.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of HRIS experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead analyst role.
- 3 years project management experience with outstanding ownership and time management skills to meet deadlines while leading multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong proficiency with Workday HCM and Compensation modules, including system configuration and reporting, HR data structures, data governance, data integrity, and data management.
- Experience leading Workday HCM & Compensation projects and delivery.
- Advanced knowledge of business requirements gathering and translating them to functional and technical specifications.
- Highly proficient in MS Excel; (advanced skills including v-lookups, x-lookups, pivot tables, VBA, etc.) and data analytics with ability to handle large datasets/
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues, propose solutions, and drive resolutions.
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy of data and configurations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Skilled in building successful business partnerships in large, matrixed organization.
