As a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst, you will serve as a technical leader in external financial reporting, leveraging deep expertise in U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and public company reporting requirements. You will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of our quarterly and annual filings, while partnering cross-functionally to deliver clear, compliant, and decision-useful financial information.

This role leads all aspects of preparing Forms 10-Q and 10-K according to U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations. It also includes drafting and reviewing financial statement disclosures, maintaining organized supporting documentation, and managing the reporting calendar to ensure all filing deadlines are met accurately.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation of financial statements for each quarter and year, including footnotes and supporting documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Draft and coordinate Forms 10-Q and 10-K in full compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements, including oversight of XBRL tagging
  • Prepare MD&A disclosures with clear, insightful variance and fluctuation analysis
  • Deliver executive-ready presentations of financial results and key insights to senior leadership and the Audit Committee
  • Manage the financial reporting calendar, collaborating cross-functionally to ensure timely close, review, and SEC filings
  • Collaborate with external auditors and valuation specialists to support accounting positions during quarterly reviews and annual audits
  • Research and assess new accounting standards and disclosure requirements; communicate technical implications to management
  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting, partnering with Internal Audit on SOX compliance activities
  • Work closely with finance, tax, corporate accounting, investor relations, and legal teams on accounting and disclosure matters
  • Provide peer review and mentorship to promote accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Deep technical expertise in U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and financial statement presentation, with strong research and disclosure drafting capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex accounting matters to stakeholders
  • Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe; Active Disclosure experience a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced public company environment
  • High integrity, strong organizational skills, and outstanding attention to detail
  • CPA designation required
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting and/or financial reporting
  • Big 4 experience preferred
