Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Preschool and Toddler Teachers to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes literacy, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional learning.
- Provide attentive toddler care and preschool instruction, ensuring each child's individual needs are met with patience and creativity.
- Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement strategies to create a respectful and productive learning environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns to foster strong home-school connections.
- Maintain detailed documentation of child development progress, lesson plans, and classroom activities in accordance with childcare standards.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed diligently, including first aid and CPR procedures, in compliance with mandated reporting laws.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, classroom management techniques, and inclusive practices such as special education or early intervention strategies.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is required; classroom experience is highly valued.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and early intervention practices.
- Demonstrated ability to develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and social skills.
- Familiarity with classroom management tools and strategies for working with diverse learners including those requiring special education support.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; ongoing professional development in early childhood education is a plus.
- Experience working within private school environments or daycare centers enhances your candidacy.
