Job Overview
We are seeking passionate and energetic Child Care Teachers to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster early childhood development, support classroom management, and implement curriculum activities that promote literacy, math, and social skills.
Duties
- Assist in developing and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with educational standards.
- Support classroom activities that promote early childhood education, including literacy, math, behavior management, and social-emotional learning.
- Engage with children during playtime, learning activities, and routines to encourage curiosity and development.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure a positive and collaborative atmosphere.
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing additional assistance as needed.
- Observe and document children's progress to inform ongoing curriculum development and individual learning plans.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and classroom management techniques.
- Familiarity with curriculum development for early learners, including literacy education and math fundamentals.
- Experience working with children with autism or other disabilities is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to implement lesson plans that incorporate special education strategies when necessary.
