What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teachers and Assistants Child Care position at KinderCare Learning Centers?
Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing educational activities and lesson plans
- Provide support to students in areas such as literacy education, math, and other subjects
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to create a positive and engaging classroom environment
- Help with classroom management and behavior guidance
- Assist with individualized instruction and early intervention strategies
- Support students with special needs or learning disabilities
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher
- Assist with lesson planning and preparation of teaching materials
- Provide childcare and ensure the safety and well-being of students
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred
- Knowledge of child welfare and childhood development principles
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in helping students succeed
- Ability to adapt to different learning styles and individual needs
- Familiarity with tutoring techniques and strategies
