Duties

• Lead classroom instruction across preschool and early elementary levels, ensuring alignment with curriculum standards and educational best practices.
• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods where applicable.
• Supervise and mentor teaching staff, providing guidance on curriculum development, classroom management, behavior management, and child development instruction.
• Collaborate with special education teams to support students requiring early intervention or additional learning accommodations.
• Monitor student progress through assessments and standardized testing; adjust instructional strategies to meet individual learning needs.
• Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety; maintain accurate records of student attendance and development milestones.
• Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes social-emotional growth, childhood development, and child welfare through effective behavior management techniques.

Qualifications -P -3 Certification is Required

• Proven teaching experience with young children in preschool or early elementary settings; prior classroom experience is essential.
• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention strategies, and early childhood education standards.
• Expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, literacy education, math instruction, and Montessori methods preferred.
• Experience working with children requiring special education services or behavioral support is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare; ability to handle sensitive situations professionally.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and community partners.
• Demonstrated ability to manage classrooms efficiently while fostering an engaging learning environment.
