Early Childhood Education Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood development and classroom management, with experience in curriculum development and working with young children. The Early Childhood Teacher will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, fostering a supportive classroom atmosphere, and implementing educational strategies aligned with developmental standards. Candidates with experience in preschool education, Montessori methods, or special education are highly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans that promote literacy, math, physical education, and overall childhood development.
• Manage classroom activities to ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children.
• Utilize behavior management techniques to support positive social interactions and emotional regulation among students.
• Assess individual student progress through observations, standardized testing, and other evaluation methods.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and colleagues to support each child's educational and welfare needs.
• Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention techniques when necessary to support diverse learning needs.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with families regarding developmental milestones.
• Foster a love of learning through engaging activities that promote curiosity, creativity, and physical activity.
• Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, safety standards, and best practices in early childhood education.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field; additional certifications in special education is preferred.
• Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings; classroom experience is essential.
• Knowledge of childhood development theories, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies.
• Familiarity with curriculum development, literacy education, math instruction, and teaching physical education.
• Experience with special education needs, early intervention programs, and standardized testing is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with parents, staff, and community partners.
• Ability to plan engaging lessons tailored to diverse learning styles and developmental stages.
• Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities and maintain detailed student records.
• Passion for fostering a safe, nurturing environment that promotes child welfare and holistic growth.

Pay: $14.50 - $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
