Job Summary
This role involves teaching, leading, and mentoring in an elementary school setting. You will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn. You will also partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children. This role requires a combination of teaching, coaching, and administrative skills. Key responsibilities include implementing KinderCare's curriculum in a way that meets the unique needs of each child, creating a positive relationship with families and staff, and supporting the center's success by achieving goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.

To succeed in this role, you must have outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively. You must also meet state-specific qualifications for the role or be willing to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification. Additionally, you must be physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors. You must also be able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children. Finally, you must read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents.
