Responsibilities

- Plan engaging lessons that incorporate Montessori principles, early intervention strategies, and standards-based assessments to support individual learning styles.
- Manage classroom environments effectively to ensure safety, positive behavior management, and smooth daily routines for children of various ages.
- Provide attentive toddler care by supporting their physical needs, encouraging exploration, and fostering independence.
- Collaborate with families to communicate progress, address concerns, and support children’s welfare through regular updates and parent-teacher conferences.
- Incorporate specialized techniques for children with special education needs or those requiring additional support in child welfare initiatives.
- Maintain detailed documentation of developmental milestones, standardized testing results, lesson plans, and classroom activities to ensure compliance with licensing standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, including preschool or daycare environments.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies.
- Familiarity with curriculum development across early childhood education disciplines such as literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and Montessori methods.
- Experience with special education practices and early intervention programs is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Ability to plan lessons that incorporate tutoring techniques and standardized testing preparation when applicable.
- Prior classroom experience in private schools or daycare centers is preferred; certification in early childhood education or related fields is a plus.
