School Nurse

Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing the daily health and wellness of the children in our care.
• Monitoring children's allergies, medications and immunization records.
• Providing resources and support to families and staff- including new parents.
• Keeping excellent records
• Maintaining a clean and safe school environment.
• Supporting school management team in the day-to-day operations of the school.

We are looking for candidates:

• who are well-versed in common infant and childhood health issues and illnesses.
• who are self-motivated and flexible.
• who have exceptional verbal and written communication as well as organizational skills.
• who enjoy collaborating and continuously improving the quality of care.

Qualifications:

• Must pass the Applicant Background Study required by the Department of Human Services.
• Must have documentation of U.S. Citizenship or eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Must have an active LPN or RN license.
• Must have daytime availability from the hours of 7am to 6pm, Monday through Friday.

Because the job responsibilities are different than that of a clinic or a hospital, this position starts at $26.00-$27.00 and is based on experience and category of license.
