What are the responsibilities and job description for the Enrichment Instructor position at Kinder Villa?
Kinder Villa – Hendersonville, TN
Part-time, with potential to grow into expanded hours programs
Kinder Villa is a modern enrichment studio built on curiosity, connection, and bold creativity. Kids shape the day and we walk alongside them. Our programs are immersive, sensory-rich, arts-driven, and rooted in child development and genuine human connection.
We’re looking for the right person to step into this role: someone who thinks in color, moves with intention, understands children deeply, and can turn even the simplest idea into an experience kids genuinely remember.
This is not traditional teaching. This is companion-style guiding: grounded, respectful, and rooted in play.
Who You Are
You’re creative, curious, energetic, and obsessed (in the best way) with child development, psychology, art, or all three. You’re the kind of person who walks into a room of kids and sees ideas everywhere.
You love:
- Play-based learning
- Immersive sensory setups
- Open-ended materials
- Nature and outdoor exploration
- Process art and child-led creativity
You’re independent, thoughtful, collaborative, and can hold space for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and older kids with confidence.
What You’ll Do:
You’ll lead across three Kinder Villa programs, each with its own magic:
MINIKIDS (ages 0–3 caregivers) – Mondays
- Facilitate a warm, connected parent–child environment
- Curate music moments, sensory invitations, and grounding conversations
- Design and prep immersive sensory playscapes that feel fresh, modern, and creative
- Support parents and babies with empathy and presence
CREATEKIDS (ages 4–10 – drop-off) – Mondays
- Create cool, trendy keepsakes kids are proud of; pieces families actually keep
- Prep engaging, aesthetic, age-appropriate art craft ideas
- Guide the creative process in a way that honors each child’s style
- Keep the energy fun, modern, and hands-on
CURIKIDS (ages 3–6 – drop-off 2x/week)
- Companion children through child-led, play-based learning
- Lead outdoor explorations across our acre of land
- Facilitate process art, open-ended materials, and immersive sensory play
- Support a small, steady group where relationships matter
- Build a safe, respectful environment where every child feels seen
The Ideal Candidate
- Background in child development, psychology, art, or early childhood
- Deep understanding of play-based learning and why it matters
- Naturally creative: ideas flow out of you
- Comfortable moving between babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and preteens (and loving each stage)
- Enjoys nature, outdoor play, and sensory-rich experiences
- Organized, reliable, independent, and excited to co-create Kinder Villa’s future
- Someone who wants to grow with us as we add programs like FlowKids and more
Why Kinder Villa?
- A modern, intentional environment; no cookie-cutter curriculum
- Space to bring your own creativity and ideas
- Real relationships with families and kids
- A role you can shape as we expand
- Hours and pay increase as programs grow and you find your groove
This position is ideal for a dynamic, artsy, thoughtful person who wants meaningful work; not a traditional classroom job.
If you want to help build Kinder Villa with heart, creativity, and purpose, we’d love to meet you.
