Job Description:


We are looking for someone with a versatile skill set, including excellent organization, communication, and analytical skills, to support a variety of different organization functions. The right candidate will be able to manage a variety of tasks at once, often changing from one assignment or project to another, based on priorities. While candidates may have strength and experience in certain areas outlined below and less skill or experience in others, the expectation is that the individual is open and willing to learn and develop skills to be successful in the position.

Payroll

  • Process semi-monthly payroll. Includes coordinating with store managers to ensure all time entries are accurate and processed on time.
  • Enter and maintain employee information into Paylocity during employee lifecycle.
  • Calculate payable hours, issue manual paychecks as needed, and answer employee questions relating to payroll matters.
  • Support Director of HR on tasks as assigned.

Administrative and Facilities Support

  • Answer phones and greet guest as needed.
  • Prepare and distribute letters, emails, and other materials.
  • Coordinate facility repairs and maintenance with various vendors and store managers as needed.
  • Order and distribute supplies as needed.
  • Manage records and record storage.
  • Prepare and update holiday promotional calendar and flyers and assist with the administration of fundraisers and donations.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the accounting department as needed.
Required Experience:


Skills Needed:

QuickBooks experience a plus

Bookkeeping practices

Strong attention to detail and numerical aptitude

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Outstanding time management and organizational skills

Able to prioritize and multitask effectively

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll software programs

Education/Experience:

Any combination of education and experience that would provide the required knowledge and ability to perform the job including accounting/bookkeeping/payroll experience (1-3 years).
